Privacy policy

Who we are

MJN Careers is operated by MJN Group. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, password (stored only as a one-way hash).
• Job seekers: location, nationality (optional), phone/WhatsApp, work history summary, skills, education, languages, job and salary preferences, visa status and sponsorship needs, notice period.
• Employers: company details, contact person, phone, logo and trade licence document (used only to verify the company).
• Community: the posts, comments, likes and company reviews you write, and reports you make.

Who can see it

• Your profile is private by default. It is visible only to you, and, from the moment you apply, to the employer you applied to.
• You can switch your profile to visible to verified employers at any time in Settings, and switch it off again.
• A trade licence is visible only to the employer who uploaded it and to MJN Group administrators who verify it. It is never shown publicly.
• Company logos are public once the company is verified. Seeker profile photos are never public.
• Community content is visible to anyone who visits the community. Company reviews are shown without your name and only after an admin approves them. If you post anonymously, other members will not see your name, but our moderators can, for example when a post is reported.
• We do not sell your data.

Your rights

• Access / portability: use “Download my data” in Settings.
• Deletion: use “Delete my account” in Settings. Your profile and uploaded files are removed.
• Correction: edit your profile at any time.

Service providers

We use trusted processors to run the service: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), file storage (Vercel Blob), email delivery (Resend) and AI features (Anthropic) where you choose to use them. Data may be processed outside your country.

Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit. We keep it while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account, except where the law requires us to keep a record.
